President and CEO
John Ford brings more than 25 years of emergency management experience to Beacon EMC. He previously served as the Director of the National Integration Center at FEMA, where he led the implementation of the National Preparedness System and the National Incident Management System (NIMS). He has deployed in leadership roles during 35 Presidentially declared disasters, including hurricanes, wildfires, floods, winter storms, tornadoes, and earthquakes. Mr. Ford also served as the Director of Emergency Services for Carteret County, North Carolina, where he led and coordinated emergency medical services, emergency communications, the emergency management program, and fire prevention activities for the county.
